Travis Birch

Husband. Daddy. Praise Leader. Recording Artist.

Travis is a fresh mix of strong vocals, praiseful presence and musical talent. Growing up in southern Illinois Travis learned to play guitar at a young age of eight. He began leading bands at age 15 and continued to become dedicated to a life of music. In 1999, Travis took his first leap of faith and moved to Nashville.

Throughout Travis’s music journey, he spent two years opening in an Illinois auditorium for various artists, including Kenny Chesney, the Oak Ridge Boys, Merle Haggard, Martina McBride, among others. After moving to Music City, Travis’s name and music was regularly heard up and down Broadway. When not on a downtown stage, he was song writing and recording.

Travis describes his path as one of perseverance, courage to change directions, and faith that God is leading the way. “It’s funny how God will go to work in your life when you let him in, your heart changes and the next thing you know, you aim to praise Him in all you do, to bring His light to others and to show His grace.” Travis now finds himself leading the contemporary worship weekly on staff at the First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, TN. At home with his wife Erin Leigh and their twin daughters, Aubrey & Allie you can hear music constantly…or at least joyful noise. “Music is such a powerful tool, and my desire is to help people know God through it!”

“I’m so excited to be a part of So:Loved because it’s really special to work with artists who have God given talent and a genuine passion for sharing the Good News of Christ. That’s just what I have found in this group, and I am honored to be a member.”
